Here is how you can add your business to Google Local

Go to http://maps.google.com/ and search for your business using the name of your business with the city and or state, for example: “SEO, Bangalore, India ”
Go to all the way at the bottom of the page, you will see Business Owners: Add/Edit Your Business. Click on it and it will take you to a Google Local business center, where you can sign up for a new account if you don’t have one.

Now enter all the necessary information about your business, including your Phone number and Website address. Follow the procedure and then finally Google need to verify your business, so Google will give you a four digit PIN number for verification, Google will ask if you like to be verified thru Phone or thru mail.

You can choose either one, but the Phone verification is faster than mail. If you select that option, you will be receiving a call in a few minutes and you have to enter the four Digit Pin number with your touch phone and follow the instructions.Once verified your business will be listed within few Weeks.
This is one of the fastest and easiest way to get into Google Local Results.
